Rimma Gelbert, M.D., D.O. of Brooklyn, New York is a board-certified physician of family and osteopathic medicine. She offers a wide range of family medicine services to her adult patients, with a focus on musculoskeletal conditions, using both conventional and alternative approaches.
Since immigrating to the United States from Ukraine as a child, Dr. Gelbert has nurtured a love of caring for those in pain and in need of quality, specialized care.
She received her education at the New York Institute of Technology and New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and has since practiced in Brooklyn, New York. Since her graduation in 2002, she has excelled at offering modern, quality care to patients, specializing in the care and natural treatment of muscle and bone conditions.
Her expertise in offering a wide range of natural options — including massage, stretching and gentle bone manipulation — has earned her a reputation in her community for knowledge and excellence in her field. Other areas of experience and passion for Dr. Gelbert are neurology, gastroenterology, and the circulatory system.
Being fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, Polish, and English, as well as her experienced care in Family Medicine and Osteopathy, has given her a reputation for delivering high-quality health care across many cultural backgrounds. Currently, she is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and holds board certification from American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.
